STRIFE & DIVISIONC
And there was a
strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the
herdmen of Lot's
cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled
then in the land. (Gen
13:7)
And Abram said unto
Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between
me and thee, and
between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be
brethren. (Gen
13:8)
For ye rebelled
against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the
strife of the
congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes:
that is the water
of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. (Num

witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies, (Gal 5:20)
Some indeed preach
The Messiah even of envy and strife; and some also
of good will: (Phi
1:15)
Let nothing be done
through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of
mind let each
esteem other better than themselves. (Phi 2:3)
Forbearing one
another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a
quarrel against
any: even as The Messiah forgave you, so also do ye.

He is proud,
knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of
words, whereof
cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, (1Ti 6:4)
O Timothy, keep
that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane
and vain babblings,

But foolish and
unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender

not against the
