Moshe

- No Other Elohim Before Yahweh

Gen 2:15 And Yahweh Elohim took the man, and put him into the garden of

Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Gen 2:16 And Yahweh Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of

the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not

eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Note: Notice that also here is the "Law of sin and death)

- Sabbath Rest

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of

them.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had

made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had

made.

Gen 2:3 And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that

in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made.

Note: Sabbath was "sanctified" (set apart as a special day)

- Honor Father & Mother (Family Relationships)

Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my

flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall

cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and

thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire

[shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

- NAME Yahweh known to men

Gen 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his

name Enos: then began men to call upon the name Yahweh.

Note: This would incorporate the 3rd commandment not to falsify

the NAME Yahweh

- Thou Shalt not murder

Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when

they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew

him.

Gen 4:9 And Yahweh said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he

said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

Gen 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood

crieth unto me from the ground.

Gen 4:11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her

mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

Gen 4:15 And Yahweh said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain,

vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Yahweh set a mark upon

Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

- Adultery

Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the

earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Gen 6:2 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men that they [were]

fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Gen 6:3 And Yahweh said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for

that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

-Idolatry

Gen 2:16 And Yahweh Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of

the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not

eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Gen 6:5 And Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the

earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only

evil continually.

Gen 6:6 And it repented Yahweh that he had made man on the earth, and it

grieved him at his heart.

Note: There are many instances of Physical Idolatry as well as

Spiritual

- False Witness (Lying)

Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when

they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew

him.

Gen 4:9 And Yahweh said unto Cain, Where [is] Abel thy brother? And he

said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's keeper?

Gen 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood

crieth unto me from the ground.

This of course, is only a sample of the commandments being known or given

before Moshe. There are many more examples. It is important to note that

the commandments were "before Moshe." It is probably valuable to note

here that in the Mishna the Jews believe that the Torah (Law) given to

Moshe was written by Yahweh’s hand before the creation of the

world, and given to Moshe on Mount Sinai.

Exo 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of

communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of

stone, written with the finger of Elohim.

Deu 9:10 And Yahweh delivered unto me two tables of stone written with

the finger of Elohim; and on them [was written] according to all the words,

which Yahweh spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the

day of the assembly.

If the Torah was given before Moshe, then it was binding on all men

from the creation of the world, and not only on the nation of Yisrael.

What is the Covenant Yahweh made?

Lev 26:12 And I will walk among you, and will be your ELOHIM, and ye

shall be my people.

Deu 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto Yahweh thy Elohim: Yahweh thy

Elohim hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all

people that are upon the face of the earth.

Deu 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto Yahweh thy Elohim, and Yahweh

hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations

that are upon the earth.

Deu 26:18 And Yahweh hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar

people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his

commandments;

Deu 26:19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in

praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy

people unto Yahweh thy Elohim, as he hath spoken.

Deu 27:9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel,

saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the

people of Yahweh thy Elohim.

Deu 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Yahweh thy Elohim, and do

his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

Deu 28:9 Yahweh shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he

hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of Yahweh thy

Elohim, and walk in his ways.

Deu 29:12 That thou shouldest enter into covenant with Yahweh thy Elohim,

and into his oath, which Yahweh thy Elohim maketh with thee this day:

Deu 29:13 That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and

that he may be unto thee Elohim, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath

sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Deu 29:14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

Deu 29:15 But with him that standeth here with us this day before Yahweh

our Elohim, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

(Compare 1 Pet 2)

We see that Yahweh’s Covenant (Every one of them) with man is that HE is

our Elohim (Mighty One) and we are HIS people. This is an

important point to keep in mind. For if the Covenants are all the same, then

it is not the Covenants that have changed, but something else. We at this

point should look at what changed in the Covenants, for we know that its not

Yahweh that changes (Mal 3:6; Heb 13:8; James 1:7)

What Changed in The Covenants?

Let’s look at the covenants and see if there is REALLY any change at all in

them. By definition a covenant is a contract, between two parties, each one

promising specific things. We have already seen that each covenant in

Scripture is between Yahweh and HIS people. HE promises to be their

Mighty One (Take care of them) and they promise to be HIS people

(obedient to HIM). Every covenant has to be sealed, and the seal Yahweh

chose for each covenant with HIS people was BLOOD. The

Covenants we find are as follows:

a) ADAMIC – Sealed by the blood of an animal when Yahweh made skins for

them to wear

b) NOAHIC – Sealed by the blood of the "clean animals" taken from the ark

c) ABRAHAMIC – Sealed by the blood of circumcision

d) MOSAIC – Sealed by blood for each sin committed

f) NEW COVENANT – Sealed by the blood of Yahushua

You will notice upon close inspection that the ONLY thing that changed in

each of the covenants was the offering of blood. This is a very important

thing to remember as we go through the rest of our study. At this point, I

would also submit that even though the sacrifice "appears" to change, that is

only an illusion, as every covenant is fulfilled in Yahushua and by HIS

blood. Please study out Hebrews 7 – 10 for the entire treatise on this fact. It

was NOT Torah that was changed…but it was the seal on the

covenant!

a) ADAMIC – Ha Messiah is the seed of the woman (Gen 3:15).

b) NOAHIC – Ha Messiah is the greatest son of Shem (Lk 3:36;

Gen 9:23-27).

c) ABRAHAMIC - The "seed" to whom the promises were made

(Gen 22:18).

d) MOSAIC – The Passover Lamb that ended all Sacrifice.

e) NEW – Ha Messiah's sacrifice is its foundation and focus in

the Millennium

(1 Cor 11:25)

<B.Was The Torah Done Away With?

At this point we should see what, if anything was done away with in the

Torah after the coming of Yahushua our MESSIAH. We will begin with

HIS own Words and cover other Scriptures in the Brit Kodesh (New

Testament).

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the

prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one

jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Note: a valid question to ask here is "Has EVERYTHING been fulfilled."

From our studies already we have seen that the thing that was to be fulfilled

was the Blood Sacrifice for the penalty of our sin. So in this aspect the

MESSIAH has fulfilled the Law’s Seal (The blood sealing the Covenant). But

what about the individual aspects of the Covenant? Is Yahweh still our

Elohim? Are we still HIS people (To be HIS people as we have seen we must

be obedient to HIM)? This is critical to understand, as we will later look at a

few verses that are often misunderstood in regards to The Torah and our

keeping of it. But has all the "Law (Torah)" been fulfilled? Well let’s look at

some other verses to see if Torah (Law Keeping) is still required as our

response to Yahweh.

Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should

do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Mat 22:36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?

Mat 22:37 Yahushua said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahweh thy

Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy

mind.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mat 22:39 And

the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the

prophets.

Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye

pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the

weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these

ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least

commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in

the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the

same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall

exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no

case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 23:1 Then spake Yahushua to the multitude, and to his

disciples,

Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe,

[that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for

they say, and do not.

Mat 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and

lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move

them with one of their fingers.

Mat 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make

broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

Note: It is very clear that the MESSIAH told us that we should keep the

commandments, but to do it with a pure heart. This was prophesied that the

commandments (Torah) would be written on our hearts. We are not to keep

the commandments thinking that in doing so we are doing Yahweh a favor,

but in love, humility, and obedience to HIM as our Father, our Elohim. But

HE also showed us how to keep the commandments this way. Let’s look…

Mat 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou

shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the

judgment:

Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his

brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and

whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the

council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell

fire.

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou

shalt not commit adultery:

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to

lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Mat 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let

him give her a writing of divorcement:

Mat 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife,

saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:

and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Mat 5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old

time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto Yahweh

thine oaths:

Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for

it is Yahweh's throne:

Mat 5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by

Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Mat 5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst

not make one hair white or black.

Mat 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for

whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Mat 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and

a tooth for a tooth:

Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever

shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of Yahweh with

idols? for ye are the temple of the living Elohim; as Yahweh hath

said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their

Elohim, and they shall be my people.

2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be

ye separate, saith Yahweh, and touch not the unclean

thing; and I will receive you,

2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons

and daughters, saith Yahweh Almighty.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the

house of Israel after those days, saith Yahweh; I will put my

laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:

and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and

every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for all shall know

me, from the least to the greatest.

1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but

unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders

disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to

them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto

also they were appointed.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an

holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the

praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his

marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the

people of Yahweh: which had not obtained mercy, but now have

obtained mercy.

1Pe 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and

pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles:

that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by

your good works, which they shall behold, glorify Yahweh in the

day of visitation.

1Pe 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for

Yahweh's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; note –

Isn’t the Ordinance of Yahweh greater than that of

man?

Yahushua was very clear that the commandments went deeper than

simply the outward appearance, they were commandments that should

be kept from the heart, spiritually. But how could we possibly do this? It is

impossible in an unregenerate man to keep the commandments even

outwardly, let alone the Spiritual aspects of them. Yahushua had the

answer. HE would send the very Spirit that abode in HIM while HE walked

this earth back to dwell in us. Why? So that we could do the very same

thing HE did, and walk the same way HE walked.

Jn 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the

works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall

he do; because I go unto my Father.

Note: The Greek word "Ergon" means an act, deed, thing done. Thus we

are to walk even as our MESSIAH walked…in obedience to the Torah.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another

Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Joh 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,

because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for

he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Joh 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Note: What were HIS commandments? HE was clear over and over again

that they were the commandments of Yahweh (IE: The Torah). But we

could never keep them in the flesh. They would have to be kept by the

Spirit, and HE sent the RUACH (Spirit) to enable us to do just that!

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is

that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father,

and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the RUACH Ha Kodesh,

whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all

things, and bring all things to your remembrance,

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;

even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his

love.

Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one

another, as I have loved you.

Note: Remember that in loving one another and in loving Yahweh we

fulfill (keep) the whole Torah. Or more aptly put, if we keep the Torah

we will love one another and Yahweh.

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide

you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but

whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you

things to come.

Note: Please read all of John 14–17 here to get the big picture. I have

shown the above verses chronologically so as to see the intent in the

passage. When you get to John 17 please note the MESSIAH’s definition of

"truth" as it is in the same address to HIS disciples. If we allow all

Scripture explain Scripture we will better understand what is being said.

Joh 17:17 Sanctify (Set them apart) them through thy truth: thy word

(Torah) is truth.

Is the Torah truth? What does the Word say? Let’s look at just a few

Scriptures that show that the Torah is Yahweh’s truth!

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto Yahweh, a workman

that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and

hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,

which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which

is in Yahushua

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is

profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in

righteousness:

whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all

things, and bring all things to your remembrance,

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;

even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his

2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and

hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];

Yahweh’s Word NEVER changes! HalleluYAH! We ARE to keep HIS

precious Torah, not as a point of Salvation, but as our act of

obedience to the contract (Covenant) HE has with us.

Objections Answered

Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of

Yahweh's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and

shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up

to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and

he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of

Zion shall go forth the law (Torah), and the word of Yahweh from

Jerusalem.

I will at this point answer objections that "seem" to negate the Torah in the

"New Testament". I will clearly show that these objections have no value,

and are merely smokescreens perpetuated by the false religious system in

an attempt to do away with Yahweh’s Torah and to keep the people of HIS

Covenant from enjoying the freedom and joy of keeping the Torah.

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High,

and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change

times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until

a time and times and the dividing of time.

It is Antimessiah who would have Yahweh’s people be disobedient to HIM,

as he has tried to do from the foundation of the world. If he can make

people think that Torah is no longer in effect, then he can cause people to

sin, for…

1Jo 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself,

even as he is pure.

1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin

is the transgression of the law (Torah).

1Jo 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;

and in him is no sin.

1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth

hath not seen him, neither known him.

1Jo 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth

righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth

from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Yahweh was

manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1Jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of Yahweh doth not commit sin; for his

seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of

Yahweh.

Understanding that, let us look at some of these "smokescreens", verses

taken out of context and/or misunderstood by many. Some even believe

that Yahweh gives them freedom from keeping the letter of the Torah and

obeying the Spirit. But as we have already seen, The Spirit of the Law

does not do away with the Torah, rather it magnifies it. The law

(Torah) is now written on our hearts, not only on tablets of stone. But it is

the very same Torah as we have already seen! The first objection

usually comes from the Book of Romans. Does Shaul say anywhere that we

should not keep Torah in Romans (or any of his other writings for that

fact)? I would submit that if he does, he is going against the teaching

of the MESSIAH HIMSELF as we have already discussed. Romans is

easy to understand if not taken out of context. Why begin in chapter 7?

Why not begin where Shaul’s thought on the subject begin? So that we shall

do.

Rom 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit [is

there] of circumcision?

Rom 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them

were committed the oracles of Yahweh.

Rom 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief

make the faith of Yahweh without effect?

Rom 3:4 Yahweh forbid: yea, let Yahweh be true, but every man a

liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings,

and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

We immediately see that Shaul upholds the Torah. He states plainly

that many tried to "keep the law" without real belief, and thus were judged

guilty. This is the base of Shaul’s argument. We continue then…

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that

seeketh after Yahweh.

Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together

become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Rom 3:13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their

tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under

their lips:

Rom 3:14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:

Rom 3:15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood:

Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:

Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:

Rom 3:18 There is no fear of Yahweh before their eyes.

Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith,

it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may

be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before Yahweh.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh

be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

Under the law? What does this really mean? If we read it carefully, all that

way to Romans chapter 8 we see it is the PENALTY of the law or death

because we have broken the Torah of Yahweh. We are under a "death

penalty" because the "sacrifice of the law" couldn’t make us "just" in the

sight of Yahweh. The blood of bulls and goats could only temporarily

"cover" our sin (See Heb 7 – 10 for a detailed explanation of this).

This is what Shaul refers to in Romans 8 as "The law of sin and death."

And THAT is the law that we are no longer under… because a

better SACRIFICE has been offered for the penalty of breaking the law

(Torah)! HALLELUYAH!!! See what Shaul says in the next verse in Rom 3:

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of Yahweh without the law is

manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of Yahweh [which is] by faith of

Yahushua Ha Messiah unto all and upon all them that believe: for

there is no difference:

Shaul is clearly speaking about our JUSTIFICATION here. To make him

say anything more, such as we are no longer to keep (Obey) the Torah

would be putting words in his mouth and making him a liar. For we see

that only a few verses from this point Shaul makes it VERY CLEAR that

the TORAH IS NOT DONE AWAY WITH, BUT IS SET IN

CONCRETE TO BE KEPT FOREVER.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith?

Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the law.

So then, we must read ALL of Romans with this fact in mind as seen

through the verses in 3:9-30, that works can not "JUSTIFY" us, but only

cause boasting in that we have done something to "merit salvation." No

one could possibly do enough works to EVER merit salvation…

that’s why we need the blood of the MESSIAH. But does this fact

negate the obedience we are to have to the Torah? Shaul again addresses

this VERY SAME issue in Ephesians:

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved (justified) through faith; and that

not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of Yahweh:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Ha

Messiah Yahushua unto good works, which Yahweh hath

before ordained that we should walk in them.

You see? Yahweh has ordained that we are obedient to Torah

friend. And that is why HE justified us, so that we COULD obey HIM! So

when we see things like we are "dead to the law" it simply put means to the

"penalty of the law" which is death for our sins. You don’t have to die any

longer for your sins… Yahushua did that for you! Praise HIS Glorious

name.

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto

sin, but alive unto Yahweh through Yahushua Ha Messiah our

MASTER.

Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye

should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of

unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto Yahweh, as those

that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of

righteousness unto Yahweh (By keeping HIS Torah)

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not

under the law (the penalty that was your death sentence), but under

grace.

Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law,

but under grace? Yahweh forbid.

Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to

obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death,

or of obedience unto righteousness?

Rom 6:17 But Yahweh be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but

ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was

delivered you.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of

righteousness.

Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of

your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to

uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your

members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Does Shaul even insinuate that the Torah is bad? That we should no longer

obey it? Contrarily:

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy,

and just, and good.

1Ti 1:8 But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Yahweh,

that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto

Yahweh, [which is] your reasonable service.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed

by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good,

and acceptable, and perfect, will of Yahweh.

How do we know what is good and acceptable and perfect to Yahweh? We

have already seen that in Ps 19 and other Scriptures. It is HIS Torah!

Looking through the rest of Shaul’s writings we see this continued theme –

"Justification is by grace alone" (See Gal, Heb, Col, etc). But Shaul

NEVER tells anyone not to be obedient to Torah, in fact, which would be

contrary to not only his words, but also his actions. See the book of Acts to

see if the early believers were obedient to Torah. Shaul kept vows and

sacrifices, we are commanded to keep the feasts (of course in the Spirit),

and even the Gentiles in Acts 15 are commanded out of Torah, and

READ the Torah EVER SABBATH!!!!

Friend, you cannot escape the fact, you are justified by Faith,

through grace (undeserved mercy). But you MUST be obedient

to Torah (Yahweh’s Handbook for a long, healthy, prosperous life

(see Dt 28)) Not being obedient will only bring curses upon your

head. There is a special blessing in Is 56 & 58 for any GENTILE

that would be obedient to Torah. Read it. Do not be deceived any

longer. It is not "bondage" to be obedient to Yahweh’s Torah,

rather it is a joy that is unspeakable.

Let’s summarize what we have learned:

1. Torah means instruction out of the Word of Yahweh

2. It is NOT the Law of Moshe, but the Law of Yahweh

3. The law was given BEFORE Moshe on Mount Sinai

4. The Covenant Yahweh made was that HE would be our

Elohim and we would be HIS people

5. The only thing that changed in the covenant was the

Sacrifice that sealed that covenant with Blood (from the

sacrifice of bulls and goats to the precious blood of our

Messiah Yahushua)

6. The MESSIAH NEVER did away with Torah in HIS

teachings

7. Yahweh has written the Torah in our hearts, and has given

us HIS Ruach (Spirit) to help us understand that Torah and

obey it

8. Shaul NEVER did away with nor told anyone not to obey

the Torah, rather in his own words he stated that the Torah

was forever (set in concrete – Rom 3:31)

9. The early Assembly obeyed Torah as they were commanded

to do by the Apostles

10.Yahweh’s Torah is Holy, just, and good. It is useful for

Doctrine, Teaching, Reproof, and Training in

Righteousness

11.There was one who came thinking to change times and

laws and seasons (Festivals of Yahweh). We are told

throughout the word to get away from that one’s false

teaching and lies

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because

thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou

shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of

thy Elohim, I will also forget thy children.

Hos 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me:

therefore will I change their glory into shame.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come

out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and

that ye receive not of her plagues.

1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his

commandments (Torah), is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and

went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep

the commandments of Yahweh, and have the testimony of

Yahushua Ha Messiah.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they

that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of

Yahushua.

Rev 22:14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that

they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through

the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15 For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and

whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever

loveth and maketh a lie.

Rev 22:16 I Yahushua have sent mine angel to testify unto you

these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of

David, [and] the bright and morning star
